Every year, a group of artists organizes an exhibition in a special place under the name Delicious Art (Heerlijke kunst). This can be a forest, an estate or a special garden. They are inspired by the place, nature, animals and history and create new works of art for them. In August and September they show their works for four weeks. Around the exhibition, they work together with poets, performers and provide guided tours.

Images and wall sculptures made of textiles and other materials. I preferably use used fabrics for this. The texture of the skin and fabric partly determines how the images are experienced and what story they tell. I also often add text as an additional layer of meaning.

Newspapers are telling about actuality, background information and gossip. The information in fragments and is sometimes shocking. The paper itselfs is rubish and vulnerable. The newspaper becomes in my sculptures a new life and another meaning. Where they belonged to is visual.

The statue reference to common society items: The divorced mother and her feelings or people as a victim of social developments. The sculptures are telling about personal dilemmas. The chosen materials are of great importance by telling the story.
