Installation about fear in the civil society

Social anxieties and expectations towards the growing youths were my inspiration for this installation. I have already shown the installation at four different locations and every time I used a different way to showcase the sculptures. For the exhibition at the Boterhal in Hoorn, March 2011, I made a fourth version and for the art manifestation Heerlijke Kunst at Heerle, the fifth . (click the photo to zoom)

The cares parents have over the physical and mental development of their children inspired me to construct this installation. I made the sculpture for a bedstee (a typical Dutch farm bed incased in the wall) in a farm during the exhibition Heerlijke kunst (delicious art) June 2010.Watch the video.
