‘Er is eens…’(Once upon this time..).
I made a wall sculpture using newspaper for an exposition in “De andere kant”-gallery in Geldrop (Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands). It was placed in the stairwell of the gallery. Title: “A land where life is good…”. February 2010
“Looking for Balance”
A commissioned project made with papier maché and textiles, covered in glass. For this sculpture I took inspiration from the personal story of my patron. February 2010.
“Newspaper sculpture with human figures”
For the newspaper NRC Next I made a wall sculpture out of newspaper. For this I made use of texts and photographs. A multitude of human figures in various poses, with the emphasis on body language. The sculpture is as fragmented as the reporting in newspapers but yet it has a uniformity because of the time and the place of the scene. A look at the world. February 2010
“Art and Spirituality”.
On the 29thof april 2010 I was part of a dialogue with Pastor Fons van Hees on art and spirituality for Spirit in Roosendaal (Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands). We talked about my work and the associations the observer makes. It was a fascinating and inspiring evening.
“The contented person”
A wall sculpture in limited edition (10), commissioned by the Beeldend Kunstenaars Collectief Roosendaal (Visual Artists Collective) for their BKC gift. June 2010.
